RUSSELL - Known as the Hell Hole of the Pacific in the days of the early European settlers. Originally named KORORAREKA, the town was renamed as Russell in 1844. The town's Christ Church is the oldest surviving church in New Zealand. BLUE PENGUIN (Korora)
